THE HISTORY OF THE BRAND AND PRODUCT
Raton dates back to the summer of 2003 when, after carefully observing
consumer habits, it was noted that the public showed a clear tendency
to wear a certain type of footwear. In order to give the observations
a different connotation from the rest of the sector and to create
an easily identifiable image, the Raton brand came to life.
The logo was chosen from ancient symbols or images which would have
an immediate impact on the observer: attention focused on an Indo-European
pictogram meaning gmixtureh which dates back to 1200
A.D. After months of ganonymityh the logo came to be baptised gRatonh,
a pet name in Spanish for gmouseh. In actual fact, if you study the
logo carefully, you can recognise the ears, whiskers and tail of a
stylised mouse.
The whole spirit of the brand is locked inside this meaning of gmixtureh.
In fact, when products are first conceived and then created there
are numerous references to the world of clothing from which it draws
its inspiration, and these references can be seen in the materials
and fashion trends which are gmixedh together with
styles, concepts and techniques closer to the world of footwear.
The concept of gmixh can always be seen in the brand/productfs
most significant expressions; from glamour to comfort, from originality
to innovation. |
